RATTLE, LLC PRIVACY POLICIES
The following sets forth the RATTLE, LLC, (hereinafter referred to as “RATTLE, LLC” and/or “we”) Privacy Policies:
1. General. RATTLE, LLC respects the privacy of every individual who uses the Rattle application or who visits the RATTLE.me website (both hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Application”). This Privacy Policy statement outlines the information RATTLE, LLC may collect through your account and use of the Application and how it may use that information. This Statement will also instruct you on how you can request that RATTLE, LLC change or delete your personally identifiable information from its database. Please note, the privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy statement apply only to information received by RATTLE, LLC from your account and your use of the Application and they do not apply to RATTLE, LLC's collection and use of customer information offline. Your use of the Application constitutes your acceptance and approval of RATTLE, LLC’s Privacy Policies. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Application. RATTLE, LLC reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove provisions of these Privacy Policies at any time. Any changes to the RATTLE, LLC Privacy Policies will be posted on the RATTLE.me website. RATTLE, LLC encourages you to check this page from time to time because your continued use of the Application will be deemed to constitute your acceptance of such changes.
2. When RATTLE, LLC Collects Information. RATTLE, LLC collects information from you when you register an account to use the Application, when you use the Application, when you place an order, enter a contest or sweepstake, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in any other use of the Application or the website or other related Rattle, LLC feature related to your Rattle account.
3. What Information May Be Collected. When ordering, registering or otherwise communicating with RATTLE, LLC, RATTLE, LLC may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. Unless you register an account, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstake, respond to a survey or communication such as an email, or participate in another site feature, RATTLE, LLC will not collect any personally identifiable information about you. The Application is not intended for use by children. By registering an account, you certify that you are over the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, your parent or legal guardian warrants that they have read and agree to all of the privacy policies contained herein and also all of the terms and conditions specified in the Terms and Condition document and shall be responsible for your usage of the Rattle Account and the Application. If your parent or legal guardian does not consent to the privacy policies contained herein and all of the terms and conditions specified in the Terms and Conditions, you may not create or use a Rattle Account. RATTLE, LLC will not knowingly collect any information about any person who is a minor.
4. Personally Identifiable Information. RATTLE, LLC may store, process and use your personally identifiable information to maintain your Rattle account and continued use, to process and fulfill orders, to better understand your needs and how RATTLE, LLC may improve its products, services, and your experience with the Application, to contact you, to respond to your requests, to fulfill sweepstakes prizes, and for RATTLE, LLC internal business purposes. RATTLE, LLC may also use your personally identifiable information to tailor advertisements and offerings to you, and to communicate with you about products, services and special offerings from RATTLE, LLC. RATTLE, LLC may use third party service providers to help it operate its business and the Application or to administer activities on its behalf, such as credit card authorization, payment processing, order fulfillment, or sweepstakes administration. Your information may be shared with these service providers for those limited purposes and shall not be shared beyond what is necessary to provide the Rattle Account services to you. RATTLE, LLC will not share, sell or rent your personally identifiable information with any third parties without your prior permission. If RATTLE, LLC is sold to, or merges with, another company, or declares bankruptcy, some or all of the information collected from you may be transferred to a third party as a result of the transfer of assets. RATTLE, LLC may also disclose your information when RATTLE, LLC determines it is necessary to comply with applicable laws, a court order, a law enforcement investigation, or to protect the interests or safety of RATTLE, LLC, it’s agents, employees, affiliates or other customers or visitors to the Application.
5. Changes to Your Personally Identifiable Information. If your personally identifiable information changes, you can update your account information via your Rattle web account or you can request corrections to, updates to and removal of your information by emailing RATTLE, LLC at support@rattle.me. Please note, these changes will only affect future transactions with RATTLE, LLC and the Application and may not be effective immediately. These changes will also not affect information collected as part of an online purchase that may have already been shared with a third party according to this Privacy Statement (e.g., credit card company) and you will need to contact each third party directly to make any changes to your information that such third parties may maintain.
6. Non-Personally-Identifiable Information. RATTLE, LLC may collect information about you that is not personally identifiable through your use of the Application. Examples of this type of information include the type of cell phone, Internet browser, IP address or computer operating system you are using and the domain name of the website from which you linked to the Application. In addition, when you view the Application, RATTLE, LLC may store some information on your computer or cell phone application. This information will be in the form of a cookie or similar file and will help RATTLE, LLC in many ways. For example, cookies allow RATTLE, LLC to tailor the Application or an advertisement to better match your interests and preferences. Most Internet browsers enable you to erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions. RATTLE, LLC does not collect personally identifiable information automatically, but RATTLE, LLC may tie information collected automatically to your previously submitted personally identifiable information.
7. Security. RATTLE, LLC is committed to keeping secure the data you provide RATTLE, LLC and it takes precautions to protect your personally identifiable information from loss, misuse or alteration. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or via cell phone or other transmission can be completely secure. RATTLE, LLC uses industry standard technology to protect the security of your information. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as specified herein. Agents or contractors of RATTLE, LLC who have access to your personally identifiable information in connection with providing services for RATTLE, LLC are required to keep the information confidential and are not permitted to use this information for any other purpose than to carry out the services they are performing for RATTLE, LLC.
8. Links. The Application may contain links to other sites, including, among others, those of advertisers, related service providers and other third parties. RATTLE, LLC is not responsible for the information collection practices or the content of the Applications to which it links.
